Rio

When I reached the city I had calmed my mood. I was balanced and centered; my enemies would be at least an hour behind. I rounded the corner to look upon the scene of a women holding a gun to her head, an older women.
I became disgusted that she would even show her face, there was a long scar on her neck from are last meeting at the dock, she felt powerful; even in her alone state. She: my sister on the other had was aggravated instead of scared for her life, like it was something usual. I felt pity on us and are life style as I walked calmly over to them. In a quick but less move, as if I was doing something like brushing my hair, I slammed her head into the concrete wall. It broke through some of the wall, she cried out in pain and surprise as if she didn't see this coming. She laid on the ground wallowing in her own failure as I grabbed my sisters arm ushering us around the corner. We marched out across the busy street, the remainder of our company catching up to us in a stunned awe.
She noticed the dominating mood, something she has not seen in sometime. She could not decide whether this was a good thing or a terrible thing that would only end in pain. She would take her chances, she was out of choices by this point.
We were about to knock on the door as it opened, three more giants were standing in the room. Where the jolly man came up with these able bodies was beyond me but I was slightly thankful. The decided due to our adventures in the jungle there was no since in wasting time any longer in Rio. During the walk through the small city I notice the looks are company received, the feelings the had towards us, as if they knew who we were and what we had done in our lives. The air was stiff and dry, it was breezy, it felt calm though as if we were walking into a bath. I looked around in taking the place as if I knew I would never return here, but it did not bother me. I scanned the people on the streets. An older women, she looked at me twice once with calm, the again with terror. I looked down to my body, realizing it was still covered with dried blood of others, there were cuts on my arms and face; from running through the jungle hitting branches. My hands were sore from climbing up a rope, my knuckles scabbed from many blows I sent to others bodies. I knew what I did, I knew it was wrong but I could not compel myself to hang my head in shame; instead I held in forward, like I knew my purpose whether it was wrong or not, my choice had been forfeit long ago. I looked to my purpose, I would die for her, I have died for her. She had no care anymore, she had nothing left to live for. In everyone else's eyes she was a possession. Something everyone wanted to use or kill. Weeks ago I was worried that I was working a forgotten cause, but without me she would not get far. Even the men in our company have sworn there lives for something they most likely have no idea about or could understand. These people in this town staring at us as we walked out of there town with judgement in there eyes; they had no idea, no way of ever understanding. The boat was old but sturdy looking. It was less than big, maybe two rooms, it would be a miracle if there was a bathroom. There was a total of nine people leaving on the boat, three had stayed behind. Two to take word back to the jolly man sitting in his dirty town, and one to keep eyes on the city of Rio. Making sure if we had followers, the would at least be stalled. The boat motored down the river, further into a larger jungle; taking us to a digging site containing a door to be opened. She was enjoying herself as she looked overboard at the river, we were never really on any boats in our adventure, at least none like this. To her this was a grand adventure, where the focus was not that much on her, but on something of greater value. Of course she always had her monsters that would most likely follow her to the end of the world. I myself was even in a content mood, as if we were being careless and happy. We had a goal that was not so much to keep her alive and get her off to safety, but now to find an object that could be worth nothing. It was almost like a movie I would have enjoyed to watch, something fictional. I have seen millions of things that most would see to be crazy and fantasy, but this to me is the fantasy, the reality of peoples mini adventure is was all amusing to me. I settle into a comfy lawn chair placed on the lower deck of the boat while I watched her examine her way around the boat; curious.
