She had to be lost, She used her best judgement after seeing where the boat had docked on the outside of the amazon. She followed the freshest looking tracks into the jungle.
Apparently not the right ones because she was lost, and now frustrated. She sat down and crossed her legs indian style, pouting to herself. She had walked and spent all of her money to get this far and now it would be over because she was now lost in the jungle. She sat there for moments before she heard gun shots coming from far in the jungle but close enough to frighten her. She was frozen remembering the past; then the shots seemed to be growing this way, but still very far off. She rose to her feet taking the expensive gun from her backpack. She waited, but the action seemed to be splitting in two directions, something small was running in the direction of the boat. She took her chance and ran for that praying it was someone she knew. She broke through the forest at the exact moment her former girlfriend did, the angle they came in to the clearing in had caused her to slam right into her. She stammered up quickly. The other girl who could barely put her eyes on stumble up then instantly began to move toward her; she fired. The small girl fell to the ground in a silent scream as if she was hiding something. At the same moment a group of men ran from the jungle, she fired at them, causing some to fall others froze in place, she screamed at them, commanding them to tie each other to the trees to or she would kill them like the others. The girl on the ground began to speak, turning her attention: She stammered, "why.." "you left me, you left me there to die all alone!" "I thought you were already dead, " "Everyone is dead because of you!" She fired again, this time hitting her hand where a ring was resting. The small girl cried in pain, blood on the ground now. She was also crying, she was frozen now. Something slammed into her, hurling at her arms causing the gun to drop as she was about to fire the rest of the shots; hoping it would make everything go back to the way it was. The arms holding her were strong and shaking, she began to cry harder causing her to fall to the ground. The women holding her fell with her, they sat there stunned watching as men came over to take away the small girl. Another came and pried her from the safe arms of the women. As she was being brought to her feet she turned to see the stunned and motionless girl who had once stood over her dying body years ago. A hot frenzy rolled over her body as she began to scream and kick in the mans arms as he pulled her away from the girl who had had actually left her to die, the girl who knew she was still alive but left anyway. The girl who she knew right now could feel her pain and she loved it, she loved that she was still hurting her without touching her. She had been taken to the boat, the small girl was being doctored upon from her wounds that had been caused by her, there was a quick sharp pinch to her neck; darkness rolled over her eyes as if she had instantly gone to sleep.
